1995

In 1995, FAMAHUN started to act as an agent and importer for medical and nutritional products from different countries and gradually expanded its marketing team for local pharmacy channels. 

In 1998, FAMAHUN cooperated with domestic pharmaceutical factories in developing generic drugs and devoted to marketing and promotion through market channel division. The business team has extensive experience and professional knowledge, and many team members are qualified with MR certification and specialize in pharmaceuticals, non-prescription drugs and consumer health products. Hospitals, clinics and pharmacies are the main sales and service targets.

2000

In 2000, FAMAHUN has expanded its business to health products import and services for registration of imported food in tablet or capsule form, which allows FAMAHUN to provide the customers with integrated and customized solutions with its original marking channels. FAMAHUN is transformed to professional importer for health products successfully.

In 2013 FAMAHUN was appointed by the US Walsal Bio-Tech Inc. as agent for its full range of "Dietary supplement foods". The manufacturing plant Walsal is certified by the US FDA factory inspection, and its parent company is also one of the few capsule manufacturers certified by the NPA in the United States. Dietary supplement foods imported from the United States to Taiwan will follow the highest food safety standards as to the food safety regulations of the US FDA and CDPH.

In May 2015, the General Manager Marco Shao-Feng Wu was elected as chairman after the FAMAHUN’s restructuring. In order to be in line with international standards and the Good Manufacturing Practice (GDP) promoted by the Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, FAMAHUN appointed the new general manager to set up a "PIC / S-GDP standard factory construction team" to collect software and hardware data for the quality management of the drug supply chain, and to implement in accordance with the standard plan of PIC / S GMP-GDP.

In January 2017, the consulting company was commissioned by FAMAHUN to guide the factory construction team to promote PIC / S-GDP verification, validation and document construction practices.

In December 2017, the improvement of the new factory (the current site in the New Taipei Industrial Park) was implemented in order to meet the standards step by step. The factory construction team improves the new operating standards by following the PDCA continuously. Until May 2018, the self-test passed, and the factory was officially relocated and started its pilot run.

In November 2018, FAMAHUN’s PIC / S GDP Distribution Supply was officially launched. Under the concept of the pharmaceutical lifecycle management, Chairman Wu leads all employees through implementation of reliable quality management systems and insistency on following the operating standards to provide high-quality and trustworthy drugs to protect the society. Jointly to improve the quality of domestic pharmaceutical distribution supply chain.

2019

In July 2019, FAMAHUN passed the PIC / S GDP audit of the Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and obtained a GDP certification. FAMAHUN is a pharmaceutical storage plant built in accordance with TFDA's PIC / S GDP and EU PIC / S GDP international standards and with certified distribution operations: procurement, storage, and supply. FAMAHUN will continue to use the“quality first”as the highest operating principle and provide the best service to our customers.
